Treatment of Osteoarthritis

Chronic joint disorder due to stiffening and disintegration of articular cartilages associated with development of new bony growth at joint margins (osteophytes). Main precipitating cause of osteoarthritis is increased mechanical stress in some part of articular surface Common complaints are pain ,swelling, stiffness etc.

Treatment of Osteoporosis

Decreased bone mass accompanied by increased fragility of the bone. Women at menopause are at higher risk of developing osteoporosis due to hormonal imbalance which results in increased bone loss.

Treatment of Osteomalacia

Inadequate mineralization of bone..improper calcification of bone and it becomes softened. This inadequate mineralization is due to improper Calcium and Vitamin D metabolism.

Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Chronic inflammatory disorder usually manifests as polyarthritis or tenosynovitis,morning stiffness,raised ESR,raised RAfactor

Pain in lower back radiates to either of buttock,posterior thigh,and calf.there may be associated parasthesia,numbness, weakness..due to intervertebral disc prolapse which causes pressure on a nerve root.

Treatment of Tendinopathies

Inflammation of tendons..may be due to injury /overuse Tennis elbow,golfers elbow,rotator cuff tedinitis,achillies tendinopathy.
